Make an Original AI Short Film in Four Weeks

Dasein AI Film Bootcamp

September 9–30, 2026
Wednesday evenings, 6:30–9:30 PM
San Francisco

Move from an original idea to a completed AI short film through a practical, guided production process.

The Dasein AI Film Bootcamp is designed for filmmakers, writers, visual artists, performers, and curious beginners who want to create—not merely discuss—AI cinema.

Over four weeks, participants will develop a concept, write a short script, create a visual production plan, generate original footage, edit in Adobe Premiere, build a soundscape, and complete a film ready for publication and festival submission.

No previous AI filmmaking experience is required.

The Four-Week Process

Week One: Story to Prompt

Develop your concept, short screenplay, visual language, shot list, and production strategy.

Week Two: AI Production

Generate footage while learning prompt construction, image-to-video workflows, character consistency, visual continuity, camera direction, and AI performance.

Week Three: Editing and Sound

Build your film in Adobe Premiere through editing, sound design, dialogue, music, pacing, and narrative rhythm.

Week Four: Completion and Screening

Refine your final cut, prepare your promotional materials, export your film, and present it during the closing class screening.

What You Will Complete

One original 1–3 minute AI short film
A screenplay or treatment
A reusable prompt document
A poster or key visual
A promotional video excerpt
Festival-submission materials
